Recycled Wood Projects
The aim of Recycled Wood Projects is to show how so-called 'waste' wood can be recycled and re-used to make all sorts of items practically for free.
I'll show you where you can get your recycled wood and how to prepare it ready for building your projects.
From Turkish tables to treasure chests, from Picket fences to wooden planter boxes, from a Christmas Sleigh to Halloween ideas, step by step photos are shown and pdf plans for some of the projects are available for download.
I have made all the projects shown on this site and you can make them too - yes, some do take more time than others, but they are all do-able - all it takes is a little time and imagination.
Waste wood is only waste to the people who need to throw it out, but to me and you it is a brilliant and often free source of wood.
By recycling one piece of wood at a time we can make the world more sustainable and teach future generations that there is another option - recycle!

A Wedding Wishing Well. Friends of ours were getting married and the groom (Matt) asked me if I could build a bespoke Wishing Well for their wedding. Of course I said yes, and the finished Well is shown below. The bride (Tarayn) didn't know anything about it beforehand, but she loved it!
